A family is in torment tonight after a ten year old perished in a house fire at Morne Serpent. The blaze which erupted this afternoon reportedly spread quickly. Attempts to get the young child, who suffered from cerebral palsy and was confined to a wheelchair, out of the house but rescuers were overwhelmed by the combination of smoke and flames.
