In this Short Rant, I look at a study done by scholars at the Yale Chief Executive Leadership Institute that assesses the damage done to the Russian economy by Western sanctions over the invasion of Ukraine. In the end the authors conclude that Russia is headed towards "economic oblivion" if the west maintains and tightens its sanctions.
