Welcome to the March 2024 Edition of Worship Night!!!🥳🥳

This month, we focus on Lent which is when we honor the 40 days and nights following Christ’s baptism when He went into the wilderness without water and food and was tempted by Satan. Much like how we prepare for significant events in our personal lives, Lent calls for us to prepare our minds and hearts to remember the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. When we prepare for something, we are alerting all our senses to what is to come. Lent therefore, is alerting our entire being to what is to come- the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We take this time to meditate on the life, the suffering, the death and the resurrection of Jesus and how this historic event is the central theme of our Christian faith. As we observe Lent, our intimacy with Christ can be challenged to deeper places by the Holy Spirit and our awareness of the mercy and grace of God by the finished works of Jesus Christ can be refreshed.
