The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, has ordered a new practice direction for the trial of terrorism cases before the court.

He defended the order as an exercise of his constitutional powers as enshrined in section 254 of the 1999 constitution (as amended).

Consequently, cases of Nnamdi Kanu's trial, Boko Haram suspects, fall within the new order.
