On his first visit to the federal capital, Abuja, after his return from the United Kingdom, the national leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Tinubu, received some eminent visitors at his home.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, was one of those who came to come to felicitate with Asiwaju Tinubu. The Vice President worked with the APC leader when he was governor of Lagos state.

Speaker of the house of representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and chairman of the Nigerians in the diaspora commission, Abike Dabiri Erewa also visited.
Former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu, who was also the Presidential Candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria in 2011, was also there to welcome Asiwaju Tinubu to the nation's capital.
