The adventure continues.. This time we’re at Anfield for a monster clash between Liverpool and Man City!

City we’re firm favourites going into this one, however no matter how poor Liverpools form is, They usually turn over City at Anfield.

The game was an intense one, high Liverpool pressing matches by City’s possession but no real attacking intent from the blues.

De Bruyne had a cross to Haaland who headed straight at Alisson while Robertson hit one over from a great postion.

Going into the second half, it was evenly matched once again, you would no way think Liverpool were 11th. However on the counter attack, Alissons long throw to Salah who skinned Cancelo wasn’t going to miss this one and sent Anfield and the Kop end into raptures.

You knew that would be the end for City! They just couldn’t create anything of note and Van Dijk, Gomez and Milner were absolutely excellent.

Liverpool hung on for a massive win for them to kick start there season, but for City. The Anfield curse continues…
