Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Jeddah on Wednesday where they discussed the latest developments in Palestine, bilateral relations and regional developments.

Mohamed bin Salman reportedly reiterated that the kingdom holds a firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and supports the Palestinian people’s right to obtain their freedom and independence.

Abbas’s visit to Saudi Arabia coincides with the arrival of Hamas leaders who are also expected to meet with the crown prince
