On one of the Russian tanks they destroyed, the Ukrainians found stolen manhole covers fitted on the outside. According to the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces command, the Russian occupants were trying to use the steel covers as makeshift armor plating to protect the crew. This is just the latest manifestation of what Russians apparently believe to be “innovation”.
