RUSSIA has announced a 3.3 Trillion Ruble ($47 Billion) Deficit for 2022 which has been funded by Bonds and the National Wealth Fund. The budget for 2023 includes further increases in expenditure to fund the War in Ukraine and National Security at a time when Oil & Gas Revenues are falling as a result of the Sanctions, EU Oil Ban, The Oil Price Cap and falling prices in the markets as as result of the Global Slowdown. All of this is very ban news for Russia and the Deficit for 2023 is likely to be significantly higher than 3.3 Trillion Rubles.
