Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, expressed Nigeria's intention to join the BRICS group of nations during his visit to Moscow from March 5 to 7, 2024. In an interview with Sputnik, he stated that Nigeria plans to apply for BRICS membership once internal arrangements are completed.
