(2 Jun 2020) George Floyd's 6-year-old daughter and her mother spoke at a news conference Tuesday after days of protests following his death.
"I'm here for my baby and I'm here for George because I want justice for him," Roxie Washington said through tears.
"He was a good man," she said.
Protests have broken out across the country since Floyd's death on May 25.
Floyd after a white Minneapolis officer, Derek Chauvin, pressed his knee on the handcuffed black man’s neck for several minutes.
