The Government will announce legislation today that will prevent anyone who arrives in the UK illegally from claiming asylum in this country.

The controversial new policy, which the Government has admitted “pushes the boundaries of international law”, will place a new duty on the Home Secretary to remove anyone who enters the UK unlawfully.
