Giorgi Gakharia is a former Prime Minister and former Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia. He was once a close ally of Bidzina Ivanishvili, a billionaire who made his fortune in Russia and is widely believed to be the shadow ruler of Georgia. Gakharia now criticizes his former boss Ivanishvili, claiming that he is responsible for Georgia's shift towards Russia, undermining Georgian's EU hopes.
