Washington has previously remembered Floyd as a ‘gentle giant.’ 'People mistake him because he was so big that they thought he was always a fighting person but he was a loving person,' she told the Houston Chronicle. 'And he loved his daughter.' The family of George Floyd has recently made public pleas for protesters to remain peaceful. ‘My brother wasn’t about that,’ Terrence Floyd, brother of George Floyd, said while visiting and praying at the site of his brother’s deadly arrest. ‘My brother was about peace.’
