George Floyd: "There Is No Contract If Law & People In Power Don't Uphold Their End Of It." -Noah

There’s been nationwide protests demanding justice for victims of police brutality and racism in the United States, following circulations of footage of George Floyd, an unarmed Black man who was killed by Derek Chauvin, a White Minneapolis police officer while in custody on May 25.

A good number of prominent figures and celebrities, including Beyoncé, Oprah, and “The Daily Show” host, Trevor Noah have since spoken out, condemning the incident.

In a video posted on “The Daily Show’s” YouTube account, Trevor Noah recounted a series of events which he believed may have led to the current unrest, including the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, a viral video showing Amy Cooper, a White woman called the cops on a Black man, lying that he was harassing her, the effects of COVID-19 on people, and George Floyd’s murder.

What are your thoughts on police brutality and racial inequalities?
