George Floyd protests: Trump vows to use military force if governors can't quell riots | FULL

U.S. President Trump addressed the nation on Monday amidst days of violent and non-violent protests that raged throughout the country, sparked by the death of George Floyd. Trump said he is strongly suggesting that governors make full use of their National Guard units, or else Trump said he would deploy U.S. military forces to stop all violent protests and enforce local curfews.

The president also issued a strict 7 p.m. curfew for Washington, D.C. on Monday saying thousands of heavily armed soldiers and police officers will be dispatched to stop all rioting and those not following will be arrested and charged to the fullest extent of the law.
