A protest formed in Minneapolis on Friday in response to the death of George Floyd, a Black man who died while in police custody after an officer knelt on his neck until he was unresponsive.

Demonstrators gathered in downtown Minneapolis near the police precinct that was burned down, where protests are expected to continue.

It is the fourth day protests have taken place in the city, and comes just hours after the officer who was seen on video kneeling on Floyd's neck was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.

It also comes after two nights of violent demonstrations in Minneapolis and St. Paul that saw buildings burned and property damaged.
