For a long time it looked like Bayern München would win this match, but the record champions let numerous chances go begging against FC Augsburg. Marco Richter opened the scoring after just 28 seconds with the quickest goal of the season, and Alfred Finnbogason completed it with the late equaliser in stoppage time. A shock for Bayern, compounded by the cruciate ligament injury to Germany international Niklas Süle.
Robert Lewandowski continues to break one record after the other. We're running out of superlatives for the Pole, who now has 214 Bundesliga goals in total and has scored at least once on all eight matchdays this season, equalling Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's record.
