Man United faced a tricky trip to Goodison Park following the derby hammering last Sunday, letting in an early goal following a loss of posession by Casemiro in a crucial position. United came bouncing back immediately though, with Anthony Martial setting up Antony for his third goal of the season. Martial was soon replaced by Ronaldo, who combined with Casemiro to score his record breaking 700th career club goal to put United in front.

United stayed strong in defence throughout the second half to come out 2-1 winners and secure the 3 points on a day to remember for Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro.
