At the end of Prometheus (2012), the last surviving Engineer faces the terrifying Trilobite—a massive, squid-like creature born from human experimentation. In a shocking and brutal scene, the Trilobite latches onto the Engineer and forces its ovipositor down his throat, using him as a host. Despite his immense strength, the Engineer is overpowered and gruesomely killed. Soon after, a proto-Xenomorph, known as the Deacon, bursts forth from his chest—marking the genesis of the Alien legacy.
