The greatest urban adventure series ever is back with a bang and this time we take on the incredible urban arena that is Manchester – third in size after London and Birmingham but by no means third best to mission through it turns out. With centuries of industry littered all over the city and a healthy dose of crime and urban decay, it was always going to be interesting, but this one exceeded all expectations.
Join myself, my brother Ben and our trusty support guy Uncle Ed as we tackle the relatively leafy first third of the mission, snaking our way towards the city centre via various strips of bramble and rubbish strewn land. Along the way I sneak into the Etihad stadium posing as Bernardo Silva, the three of us discover what has to be the most disgusting patch of ground in all of England, and Ben and I get a serious wakeup call from our smelliest and deepest urban river yet…
