Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has reiterated his commitment to the values and traditions of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stating that both the party and the nation are calling for a leader grounded in principle, humility, and foresight.
Addressing party faithful after filing his nomination for the party’s flagbearership, Dr Bawumia spoke of a growing demand both within the party and across Ghana for a new kind of leadership, one that reflects the founding ethos of the NPP and the aspirations of the Ghanaian people.
“The NPP and Ghana are demanding for a leader who embodies the values of this tradition – deep intellect, humility, respect for all persons, unity, courage, foresight, and resilience,” he said.
