Desmond Doss was a U.S. Army medic in World War II who refused to carry a weapon due to his religious beliefs. Yet he saved around 75 lives in the Battle of Okinawa, becoming the first conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor. His story inspired the Oscar-winning film Hacksaw Ridge. Watch how a man with no weapon became one of America’s greatest war heroes.
