Don't buy this speed controller unless you take THESE steps to rectify!
https://www.pcbway.com 2-sided PCB just $5 for 10 pieces. Assembly for 10-pieces just $30.

So I needed a fan speed controller that I could have made myself but I didn't have the time. So bought this one from eBay which reinforces just why we should NOT buy mains electrical items from the Far East.

See what needs to be done to make this unit safe, about 1 hour's work, whilst I stand on the naughty step for talking about mains-operated devices.
