Australian news cameraman struck by US police in Washington D.C while covering George Floyd protests

An Australian cameraman has been struck by police in Washington, D.C. live on air while covering the protests.

The live footage shows US police rushing protesters before a police officer strikes cameraman Tim Meyers, despite reporter Amelia Brace shouting “Media!”

It is not clear if the two journalists were injured, but they were able to continue reporting.
